Visitors to Busan can tour the city with the wind blowing through their hair on the new open top double decker buses that will be debuting this spring in the city.

Although they are not the first double-decker buses in the nation, Busan is the first city to introduce open top buses in Korea. The city began running double-decker city bus tours in 2006 and has been enhancing customer experience and expanding tour routes. The introduction of the open top tour bus is yet another way to improve visitor service.

The buses will undergo test runs in May and the tour will officially open to the public in April. Two tour routes will operate, one city tour and one to Eulsukdo Island Ecological District, each a two hour course. For passengers' convenience, the approx. 10,000 won fare can be paid with a transport card and visitors will receive a discount coupon booklet which can be used in a wide range of cruise ship, accommodations, restaurants, souvenir shops, and theaters.
