In 2010, G-Global Aviation in Asian takes flight.
Gyeonggi Province, Ansan City, and the Gyeonggi Tourism
Organization entered an MOU with the Korea Aerospace Research
Institute at the Suwon Ramada Plaza Hotel at 11 o'clock on 18th for
comprehensive cooperation in aerospace technical development
including G-Global Aviation in Asia.
Through this MOU, G-Global Aviation in Asia will introduce new
contents regarding aerospace, and the advanced technology of the
Hangwooyeon aerospace center will be incorporated in the industrial
exhibits and experience events of the show. Additionally, with the
invitation of Dr. Soyeon Yi, Korea's first astronaut, the dreams of
youth to fly in and explore space will be fostered.
G-Global Aviation in Asia, now in its second year, will provide
visitors with an expanded range of aviation experiences. Air shows
and diverse experiential events led by world-renowned teams from
around the globe will add to the excitement of this international
aviation exhibition.
The event venue, an aero experience park which can accommodate
twenty thousand visitors per day, will offer numerous activities
based on flight, and a range of events will be organized to broaden
the horizons of all participants. Of particular note, Korea's own
Black Eagles air team will perform along side with teams from the
U.S., Australia, Japan, Russia, and Switzerland so as to ensure the
excitement and success of the aviation exhibition undertaken by 6
nations through 20 programs.
